Hudson Valley Community College: College Troy New York Style

The Hudson Valley Community College offers certification programs and associates degrees in many different fields. Programs include the School of Business, School of Engineering and Industrial Technologies, the School of Health Sciences and the School of Liberal-Arts and Sciences. Specifically, the program offers courses in accounting, administrative information technology, automotive technical services, biotechnology, broadcast communications, business marketing, construction, computer integrated technology and much more.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute offers bachelor programs, masters programs, and doctorate programs in several different fields. Specializing in technology and scientific advancement, RPI also offers interdisciplinary and studies in architecture, humanities and social sciences. Degrees include aeronautic engineering, applied physics, architecture, philosophy, geology, and many more. The university not only offers a campus in Troy, but also in Connecticut as well.

Russell Sage College

Russell Sage College, Troy New York’s own, is a college for women. Russell Sage College offers two-year degrees, four-year degrees, bachelor’s degrees, graduate degrees and certificate degrees. The School of Arts and Sciences offers biology, chemistry and physics, English and modern languages, history, law and government, liberal studies, psychology, sociology and criminal justice.

There are also programs in education, athletic training, nursing, nutrition, occupational therapy, physical therapy and palliative care. In addition to these, there is communication and information, creative and performing arts, management, math and computing sciences, and visual arts.
